The Gloucester County and Humane Society of Atlantic County will be participating in our Dog Days of Summer Sale Event this week! Both local shelters do great work, and we here at White Horse RV Center are so excited to be partnering with them.
On Saturday 7/20, stop by between 11am to 2pm and meet some wonderful adoption dogs from the Gloucester County Animal Shelter at our Williamstown location, and the Atlantic County Animal Shelter at our Galloway store! The shelters will also have literature and adoption applications available!
All week, Saturday 7/20- Saturday 7/27, we will be collecting donations for the shelters to help them with all of their great work. Please see the list below for donation suggestions and ideas!
Both the Gloucester County Animal Shelter and Humane Society of Atlantic County do great work in our local communities and promote responsible and safe pet ownership!
Gloucester County Animal Shelter
The Gloucester County Animal Shelter opened in 1990. The shelter currently handles over 3,000 domestic animals every year, and provides both animal control services and animal shelter services. The shelter also offers volunteering and fostering opportunities for those who hope to do their part in helping these animals!
Our goals are to promote humane care and treatment of all animals, seek responsible, loving homes for animals, reduce pet overpopulation by encouraging people to spay and neuter their pets, provide lost and found services by reuniting pets with their families and to protect animals from cruelty and neglect.

Humane Society of Atlantic County
The Humane Society of Atlantic County was established in 1968 and has been serving the community’s pet and pet-owners ever since. The Humane Society offers an adoption program as well as veterinary services. Their outreach programs allow the organization to help animals from all over the world, as well as locally.
Our mission is to curb pet over-population through our clinic’s spay and neuter programs, increase the number of animals adopted into loving homes through our shelter, provide a safe and caring environment for animals that are lost or strayed and to serve as a resource for humane animal education within our community.
